Notes

-Rough outing for Fernando Nieve, who allowed 5 runs on 7 hits in the first inning. Couldn't get out of the second. Brent Leach followed by allowing 7 runs in 2.1 innings. Derrick Loop allowed an unearned run in 3 innings, while Josh Wall pitched a scoreless 9th. Scott Van Slyke homered for the 3rd time in 4 games. Jerry Sands homered, while Jeff Baisley went yard twice. Tim Federowicz had 4 singles.

-22 year old Matt Magill had himself a debut, pitching 5 no-hit innings for the Lookouts. Unfortunately, the bullpen would give up 7 runs and he wouldn't factor into the decision. J.T. Wise hit his first homer of the season. Javier Solano pitched 3 scoreless.

-Rancho's struggles continue, even with a big league arm on the mound. Rehabbing Ted Lilly allowed 7 runs in 6 innings, including a grand slam. Andres Santiago, 14 years Lilly's junior, pitched 3 scoreless frames. Leon Landry, looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2011, hit his first homer of the season. Austin Gallagher doubled and Chris O'Brien singled twice.
