-Josh Fields played hero today, hitting the game-winning home run in the top of the 9th inning. Who wants to see him at third over Juan Uribe? Yet another extra base hit for Scott Van Slyke, who now has 6 in 6 games. Alex Castellanos doubled twice and stole third. He now has 3 doubles and 2 triples to go along with 3 stolen bases in 4 tries. Jerry Sands continues to struggle, while Josh Wall is inching his way toward the big club.

-The Lookouts got the win after back to back 2 out doubles from Pedro Baez and Blake Smith. Allen Webster had a decent outing, throwing 63 of his 95 pitches for strikes. Smith's double was only his second hit of the season. Wise is batting .444. Russell has struck out 7 times in 5 games. Tolleson recorded his first save of the season.

-Zach Lee gave up a long home run but was otherwise strong in his start, giving up a few cheap hits, two of which led to his second run allowed. Casio Grider, known for his speed, hit the ball hard twice, one a long home run to left and another a lined double off the wall in left center. Gallagher hit a 400+ foot home run to dead center to give the Quakes the lead during their comeback 5 run 8th. McGough and Bawcom were solid in relief.

-The Loons finally won a game! Jesse Bosnik fell a triple short of the cycle. Jesus Arredondo had two hits and is batting .500 thru his first 4 games. Juan Noriega had another solid showing, while Yimi Garcia allowed a run but still secured the victory.
