Notes

-Albuquerque continues to struggle scoring runs in spite of playing in one of the more offense-friendly environments in pro baseball. Alex Castellanos had a nice game and is hitting .393 with 5 doubles. Michael Antonini had a nice outing, going 5 innings and allowing just 1 run.

-Ethan Martin walked the first 4 batters he faced. He faced the minimum during the third and fourth innings, but allowed a single and a walk to start the fifth and left the game at that point. The bottom of the order produced 6 hits, with Pedro Baez raising his average to .316.

-The Quakes won in dramatic fashion, tying the game twice in the bottom of the 5th and the bottom of the 7th before winning on a walk-off walk. Chris Reed faced the minimum during his first 3 innings but lost his control in the 4th, walking the first 3 batters he faced and allowed his only hit to the 4th. Tyler Henson doubled and tripled as well as drawing the penultimate free pass. Leon Landry collected 2 hits, raising his average to .310

-The Loons also used the walk-off route in their victory, going 14 innings before Pratt Maynard scored the winning run after a single from Kevin Taylor and a throwing error from the opposing right fielder. Jarret Martin struggled but picked off 2 batters, giving him 5 in his first 9.2 innings of the season. Jose Dominguez and Ryan O'Sullivan sparkled in relief, with strong performances from Jason West and Matt Shelton as well. Taylor and Jesus Arredondo collected 3 hits a piece.
