-The Isotopes attempted a comeback, scoring the tying run in the 9th following an error, but Wil Ledezma fell apart in the 13th, allowing 5 runs. Alex Castellanos doubled for the 6th time this season and stole his 4th base. Jerry Sands singled and drew 3 walks. Scott Van Slyke singled twice and drew a walk, giving him 5 against just 2 strikeouts. Tim Federowicz collected a rare triple. John Ely had a strong outing, lasting 6 innings allowing just 1 run. Scott Rice went 2 perfect innings and could be a candidate for a callup if Scott Elbert continues to struggle.

-Chattanooga suffered a similar fate, pulling ahead after trailing early only to see the lead disappear in a 5 run inning. This time it was Luis Vasquez, who retired just 2 of the 8 batters he faced. Nathan Eovaldi was strong in his second start, striking out 9. Player of the Day honors go to Brian Cavazos-Galvez, who doubled and homered twice. Kyle Russell came a triple short of the cycle and hasn't struck out in 3 straight games. Pedro Baez singled twice and walked, but did commit his first error of the season.

-Rancho got a big game from Leon Landry, who doubled twice, homered and stole a pair of bases. Tied heading into the 9th, Tony Delmonico walked to lead off the inning, his 8th of the young season. After being lifted for a pinch runner, Pedro Guerrero would single and Leon Landry's second double of the game would bring in the go-ahead run. Tyler Henson's single would add 2 insurance runs and Logan Bawcom struck out the side in the bottom of the frame to secure the victory. Chris Jacobs made his 2012 debut, going hitless in 4 at bats with 3 strikeouts. Austin Gallagher doubled and walked in 5 plate appearances.

-The Loons led wire to wire in their 4th win of the season, behind a strong outing from Gustavo Gomez. In spite of 3 errors, Great Lakes' pitching survived and held on to the win even after Fort Wayne pulled within 1. Scott Schelber doubled and tripled, giving him 7 extra base hits in 9 games. James Baldwin also doubled, giving him his first hit of 2012 and made a fantastic diving catch to boot. Jesus Arredondo went hitless, while a Jesse Bosnik single accoutned for the final Loons hit.
