Lookouts Win a 12 Inning Thriller

The Chattanooga Lookouts (10-11) claimed an 8-7 victory over the Mobile BayBears (11-10) after an already tumultuous day at the ballpark turned even crazier in a twelve inning melee.

Aside from speculation over the starting rotation, second baseman Jake Lemmerman was a late scratch for the Lookouts as the two-spot hitter was nailed in the eye with an errant throw during warm ups. Lemmerman was taken to the hospital where he received three stitches just below his eyebrow. Lemmerman is day-to-day and will not be placed on the DL.
