-Jerry Sands put a cherry on top of his hot streak with Albuquerque, falling a triple short of the cycle while clubbing his third homer in two days. Fife pitched well enough, giving the Topes a quality start, but lost it in the 7th. With runners on the corners and one out, a squeeze bunt plated the eventual winning run.
-A solo homer was the only blemish on Eovaldi's outing as the Lookouts gave him just enough offense to win. The righty struck out 4 over 7 innings and allowed just 3 hits. Logan Bawcom relieved him with 2 no-hit innings. Nick Buss led the way on offense with 3 hits, with Wise doubling twice, Baez doubling and tripling and Erickson adding a two-bagger as well.
-Jon Michael Redding made his third straight start in place of Chris Reed and pitched well, also giving up just a solo home run in his win. Gallagher doubled twice, with Brian Cavazos-Galvez homering and Scott Wingo adding a triple. Leon Landry doubled, meaning he's hit safely in all 8 of his games since coming off the DL.
-Ryan O'Sullivan struggled with control in his second start, walking 3 in 6 innings. He also unleashed a pair of wild pitches and saw 4 errors committed behind him. The Loons' offense attempted a late comeback, scoring 3 in the 9th, but ultimately dropped their 5th in a row. O'Koyea Dickson went hitless for the first time in 10 games with the Loons. Jesus Arredondo singled but is hitting just .162 in his last 10 games.
