Top Dodgers' prospect Yasiel Puig was arrested Sunday morning for moving violations.

According to LA Times writer Steve Dilbeck, top Dodgers' prospect Yasiel Puig was arrested Sunday morning in Tennessee for speeding, reckless driving and driving without proof of insurance. Puig was held at a local jail and released shortly thereafter.

Dodgers' general manager Ned Colletti acknowledged the incident, saying, "We'll be handling the discipline internally."

The Cuban defector had been playing with the club's Double A Chattanooga affiliate, though he'd missed the previous week and a half with a sprained left thumb.

Puig, 22, signed a seven year, $42 million deal with the club last summer. More details on the incident and the organization's handling of it will come as they unfold.
