The Los Angeles Dodgers will break the Dodger Stadium all-time single-season attendance record tonight (?Thursday), surpassing the previous mark of 3,608,881 set in 1982.

In appreciation of their fans' support, the Dodgers will be giving all fans in attendance at the record-breaking game a voucher redeemable for a free ticket to select games during the Dodgers' 2007 regular season. Fans can check online at dodgers.com for a list of games and may redeem their vouchers once tickets go on sale in March of 2007.

"This is just a simple way for us to thank our fans for their loyalty," said Dodger Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Marty Greenspun. "Breaking the single-season attendance record is a tremendous accomplishment and could not have been reached without the continuous support from the Dodger faithful."

The Dodgers have had 16 sellouts this season and have drawn 50,000 or more fans on 23 occasions. They have also set the all-time Dodger Stadium single-game attendance record this year, drawing 56,000 fans on Opening Day (April 3) against the Atlanta Braves. Nine of the top 10 Dodger Stadium single-game attendance totals have occurred in 2006. The Dodgers lead the National league in cumulative attendance and single-game average drawing 3,476,322 through 75 home games, averaging 46,351 per game.
