Jason Johnson's six shutout innings boosted Las Vegas to an 8-2 win over Memphis and James McDonald did him an inning better and struck out nine as Jacksonville whitewashed Carolina 2-0. Inland Empire dropped a 9-2 road game at Rancho Cucamunga and Great Lakes was limited to five hits in a 6-0 loss to Wisconsin.
