Tucson dumped Las Vegas 4-1 and Jacksonville out-slugged Birmingham 8-7 with seven different Suns collecting one run batted in each. Inland Empire got tight pitching and Drew Locke knocked in three and scored the fourth run in a 4-2 win over Lancaster. Great Lakes won their third in a row and Alberto Bastardo won his first of the year by a 3-1 margin at Lansing.
