Las Vegas could manage only three hits and lost their fourth game in a row, this one 5-0 at Portland. Jacksonville rode four hits by Jamie Hoffman and a grand slam by Juan Gonzalez to an 8-1 win over Mobile. Jason Schmidt kick-started Inland Empire and Cody White earned the win as Inland Empire stopped Lancaster 7-3. Great Lakes lost a 7-4 decision to Lansing.
