John-Ford Griffin smacked a grand slam as Las Vegas slammed Tucson 12-4. Jacksonville lost 7-5 to Carolina 7-5. Inland Empire was thwarted by a triple play and lost 8-6 despite a home run by Tray Robinson. Given Kutz and Great Lakes won the first game of a doubleheader 7-6 but the second game was suspended. The DSL Dodgers outlasted the Jays 8-7 and improved to 5-2.
