Manager Joe Torre must have looked longingly at the box scores of the Dodgers minor league clubs after the four who played knocked out 57 hits and scored 32 runs while going 4-0. The 51s beat Tacoma 5-2, Jacksonville topped Birmingham 7-2, Inland Empire outscored Bakersfield 14-8 and the DSL Dodgers manhandled the Cubs2 12-2.
