Tacoma stopped Las Vegas 8-1 despite Terry Tiffee's four hits. Jacksonville beat Birmingham 8-5 behind the pitching of Marlon Arias. Inland Empire let a 7-1 lead slip away and lost 13-12 to Rancho Cucamonga despite three hits by Jaime Pedroza and Bridger Hunt. Jamie Ortiz hit his eighth home run and Great Lakes played a record 13-inning contest before losing 8-7 to Dayton on a home run.
