Fresno tagged Jon Meloan for three in the bottom of the first inning and never trailed again, winning an 8-4 decision over Las Vegas. A two-run home run in the 15th inning gave Chattanooga a 2-1 win over Jacksonville. Lancaster home runs keyed a 16-9 victory and spoiled Steven Miller's debut with Inland Empire and South Bend broke up a scoreless game in the sixth and topped Great Lakes 4-1.
