Las Vegas scored eight runs in the sixth and seventh innings to top Colorado Springs 10-6. Mobile dumped the Suns 7-4, scoring all their runs early in the game and Inland Empire took over sole possession of first place in the Southern Division of the Cal League when they topped High Desert 7-0 behind the pitching of Eric Cyr. The Loons were shutout by Dayton 5-0.
