Dodgers Fifth in RCAA During 2008

In the final accounting, St. Louis, Chicago, the Mets and Florida led the Dodgers team totals in Runs Created Above Average (RCAA) during he 2008 season. Philadelphia and L.A. tied for fifth place and Manny Ramirez, in only 53 games, finished seventh in the individual top 10. Including time spent with Boston, Ramirez also was 91 runs over average.

Albert Pujols cemented his ranking as the top player in the National League, finishing an astonishing 91 runs better than and average replacement player. Chipper Jones finished second with 65 points and Manny Ramirez was seventh with 47.

Andre Ethier (37), Rafael Furcal (20), Matt Kemp and Russell Martin (15 each) followed Ramirez.
