Pierre's Walk-Off Walk Tops Angels

The seventh time wasn't all that charming for Randy Wolf, but craft won out over power as Juan Pierre, who has been criticized for not drawing enough walks, got a big one in the last of the 10th with the score tied and the bases loaded as the Dodgers evened the series with the Angles on the strength of a 5-4 win despite a pair of Angels home runs.

One might say it was a triumph for the "little guy", as it was the bottom three position players in the lineup that set the table for Pierre, except for the fact that 290-pound Jonathan Broxton worked two innings and earned the win and he has never been considered "little" in his life.
