Raptors Win on Unearned Run in Ninth
On a wild and windy night in Ogden, the Raptors and Chukars battled to the wire before an error in the last of the eighth inning broke a 3-3 tie and allowed Ogden a 4-3 victory, despite being out-hit 11-8.

Raptors starter Elisaul Pimentel allowed a run in the top of the first, but Ogden scored three runs in the bottom half of the inning.

Brian Cavazos-Galvez knocked in Lenell McGee with the first of his two doubles. Austin Yount's two-run double just inside the first base bag scored Cavazos-Galvez and Jerry Sands.

Idaho Falls got single runs in the fourth and fifth off of Pimentel to tie the game, but Ogden offense was unable to add to their run total.

Javier Solano (1-0) relieved Pimentel in the sixth with a man at second and two outs. After walking two batters to load the bases, he escaped without further scoring.

In the last of the eighth, Jerry Sands doubled with one out and was still at second when Yount came to bat with two out. He rapped a shot to the shortstop who fielded the ball cleanly then threw it wide of first as Sands scored the go-ahead run.

Daigoro Rondon gave up a one-out double in the top of the ninth, but finished with a strike out and a ground ball to Batista third to end the game and earn himself his fifth save.

Cavazos-Galvez finished with a pair of doubles and a single. McGee doubled and singled and Yount had two important RBI.

The Raptors and Chukars will play again tonight with righties Matt Magill and Bryan Paukovits facing off.

Angels Not Kind to AZL Dodgers
The Arizona Angels cracked out 14 hits, good for 11 runs and were helped by five Dodgers errors, resulting in five unearned runs, in an 11-2 blowout.

The Dodgers scored first in the second inning when Chris Henderson and Jonathan Garcia doubled but a six-run third erased that and put the game out of reach.

Bolivar Medina (3-1) pitched three innings and allowed all six runs but only two of them were earned. Dan Danielson gave up two more and Roberto Fructuoso also was tagged for two. Only Kevin Childs escaped the onslaught, holding the Angeles scoreless in the seventh and eighth.

Casio Grider had two of the Dodgers five hits.
