Jones Third Slam Boosts Albuquerque

Albuquerque scored six in the first inning and went on to an 8-4 win over Reno as Mitch Jones banged his third grand slam of the season. A solo home run in the last of the ninth topped Chattanooga 2-1. Inland Empire lost their 11th game against four wins in August, 8-1 to Bakersfield.
