Eovaldi Twirls One-Hitter in First Start

Albuquerque scored first but New Orleans ran off five unanswered runs to win 5-3. Corey Smith's solo home run in the last of the 10th gave Chattanooga a 6-5 win over Montgomery. Nate Eovaldi made his first start of the season, allowing only one hit over five but Visalia beat Inland Empire 5-2. The Great Lakes, led by starter Elisaul Pimentel who also allowed only one run, topped Lake County 5-0.

N'Oleans Drops Albuquerque 5-3 Starter John Towers (1-2) gave up nine hits and five runs in his five innings and lost a 5-3 decision to New Orleans. The Isotopes scored the first run in the second inning but the Zephyrs ran off five unanswered runs from that point on.
