Cory Wade was selected in the 10th round of the 2004 draft after pitching and playing shortstop at Kentucky Wesleyan College. As a professional he has followed the game from the pitchers' mound, but after the first year it became a struggle for him, with his earned run average over four and only won season with a winning record.
