James Adkins (1-2) worked six strong innings to earn his first win of the season as Chattanooga pasted Carolina 12-4. Eduardo Perez lined a walk-off single and Tim Sexton worked eight innings as the Sixers edged Lake Elsinore 3-2 in 10 innings. Great Lakes turned a triple play but four errors cost them a 5-1 loss to Beloit.
