Pioneer pitchers are hoping Ogden's Jerry Sands is in line for a promotion to a higher level. He leads the league in batting (.458) and knocked in five runs in 19-2 rout of Great Falls. The Arizona Dodgers fell behind 9-0 after three innings and and lost 13-0 to the Indians. The Dominican Dodgers allowed only four hits but two unearned runs in the last of the eighth handed the Red Sox a 2-1 win.
