Brad DeWitt and Jaime Hoffman celebrated birthdays by helping Albuquerque top Reno 5-4. Chattanooga scored six times in the ninth inning to turn a 6-2 deficit into an 8-6 win over Tennessee. Inland Empire's Kyle Smit lost a tough, 3-2 decision to Bakersfield. Great Lakes matched a franchise record by scoring 18 runs in an 18-4 rout of South Bend.
