Notes

-Albuquerque lost a slugfest, with Alex Castellanos collecting his first homer of the season. Scott Van Slyke collected his 5th double of the year, while Castellanos, Angle, Herrera and Oeltjen all tripled. Sands went hitless but walked twice, giving him 8 in 11 games. Scott Rice maintained his perfect 0 ERA.

-Ethan Martin earned his first win of the season, struggling early but settling down and facing just 3 batters over the minimum from the 3rd to 6th inning. Pedro Baez homered for the first time this year, while Jake Lemmerman doubled and tripled. Shawn Tolleson pitched 2 scoreless innings for his 3rd save.

-Chris Reed struggled, allowing a 3 run home run and 5 walks in 6 innings to take the loss. Greg Wilborn and Bret Montgomery pitched scoreless innings but the Quakes couldn't muster a comeback. Austin Gallagher had 3 hits, with Charlie Mirabal and Jon Garcia adding doubles. Tyler Henson hit his second home run but was also caught stealing.

-Tough game for the Loons, who led for 26 outs before a walk-off double allowed by Ryan O'Sullivan cost Great Lakes the game. The offense contributed just 3 hits: a Joe Winker double and singles from Noel Cuevas and Devin Shines. The real story of the game was Jarret Martin, who allowed just 2 hits in 7 innings. He also picked off his 6th batter in just his third start.
