Lady Bulldogs Rally to Victory

Mississippi State (2-0) erased a 33-28 half time deficient and found a way to defeat Southeastern Louisiana (1-2) at Humphrey Coliseum on Friday night 69-62. Imesia Jackson led the Lady Bulldogs in scoring with 11 points; all in the second half, while Tysheka Grimes, Robin Porter and Marneshia Richard scored 10 points apiece.

"The bottom line is that we found a way to win," said MSU head coach Sharon Fanning. "The biggest question I asked at halftime was how many times did Imesia touch the ball. She wasn't cutting aggressively in the first half. We didn't do a lot of things well offensively in the first half, and that also got us down a bit defensively.
