Wolf First Pitcher to Homer Since 2007

Randy Wolf homered against the Diamondbacks to record the first home run since Jason Schmidt and Hong-Chih Kuo in 2007. Before them, Hideo Nomo and Kaz Ishii drove a ball out of the park in 2004. Wolf also added a double, a single, three runs batted in and took a one-hit shutout into the eighth inning.

It was first home run in Dodger Blue for Wolf, but he hit four as a member of the Phillies, three of them in 2004. Wolf also doubled and singled, adding three runs batted in to run his total to eight on the season. He knocked in 11 in 2003 and eight n 2004 while in Philadelphia.
