Gallagher and Elbert Spark Wins

Albuquerque's Scott Elbert earned his first win of the season by stopping Salt Lake 6-2. Austin Gallagher knocked in the winning run in the eighth inning as Inland Empire edged Rancho Cucamonga 5-4 and Dayton handed Great Lakes a 6-2 loss but Jerry Sands ran his hitting streak to 11 games. Chattanooga was rained out.
